1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Touchline Android application and this website. By using Touchline or this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.

2. The service

Touchline is a coaching tool for grassroots soccer: live match clock, lineup, substitutions, goals, cards, local save, and season-oriented reporting. It is intended for sideline use, including offline scenarios.

Touchline is designed for sideline use — live coaching on the sideline. It is not built for league administration or team administration, and it is not a substitute for official club or safeguarding systems.

3. Eligibility

You should be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country and capable of using a coaching tool responsibly. If you use Touchline for a club or team, you confirm you have authority to enter the information you store.

4. Free and Touchline Plus

The free tier provides core match tracking with local save. A short advertisement may appear after the match finishes so that Free can stay free; we do not show ads during live match play. Touchline Plus is an optional paid upgrade (£9.99 per year via Google Play, or the equivalent in your currency) that removes the end-of-match ad and unlocks share/export and Touchline Plus features. Live match tracking is not intended to be locked behind a hard paywall.

Purchases, renewals, refunds, and billing disputes for Touchline Plus are handled under Google Play’s terms and policies.

5. Your responsibilities

• Use Touchline lawfully and in line with your club, league, and safeguarding rules.
• Enter only information you are entitled to hold; be especially careful with children’s data.
• Do not reverse engineer, abuse, or attempt to disrupt the app, website, or related services.
• Keep your device secure; you are responsible for access to the phone where matches are stored.
• Do not rely on Touchline as the sole record for official disciplinary, insurance, or dispute processes.

6. Intellectual property

Touchline, its branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or club coaching purposes in line with these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the app except as allowed by Android/Google Play rules.

7. Website

This website provides product information. Touchline is available on Google Play.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable experience but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the product develops. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

9. Disclaimer

Touchline is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Match timing, events, and reports are tools to assist coaches — verify anything critical independently.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on match data for official or commercial decisions. Our total liability arising from use of Touchline or this site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Touchline Plus in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
